Calling Every Expats

Hello World!!! We know of plenty of people from other countries who are choosing to make their Singapore their new home. To you all expatriates we say; come on! We welcome you with open arms. There are so many reasons that others have for choosing to move here; some choose to transfer here when the opportunity arises professionally, while others come for personal reasons. It matters not why you have chosen Singapore as your new home; just know that we are the best place in the world to live.

It has been said over and over that there is no place like home. There is no truer statement in the world. Singapore is one of the best places in this big world of ours to live and work and gain a better personal and/or professional education. Many expatriates have had to get used to weather that might be much different than they are used to in their original home countries; Singapore is always warm and sunny; with a chance of a sprinkle or downpour at any moment. Some simply cannot get used to the rainy climate of England or the cold and/or snowy climate of the northern parts of Russia, Canada, Europe or the United States.

In terms of our professional sector and connections, we are top-notch! Do you realize, or have you even thought about how many Fortune 500 companies and huge multi-national corporations have made Singapore the chosen place for their corporate headquarters? That number has probably grown by leaps and bounds in recent years; and that is no surprise in the least when you think about how easy it is for our corporate citizens to stay in touch with and connected to the rest of the world from our humble little place in the sun. From here you can go anywhere in the world that your training and profession can take you.

You might be asking if the roads and highways are well taken care of. The answer is a resounding… yes!!! There is nothing more frustrating or time-consuming than not being able to get somewhere because of a poorly maintained transportation system. Given the fact that it only takes one hour to go from one side of the country to the other; it is easy to understand why most people choose to move to this wonderful place.

The very last item on this list is our top-notch, world class educational system. While it is standard to have schooling that covers every age and educational level from pre-school to grade school to junior high school and college/university. What is not very common is the level of excellence that our schools provide those attending them. Many of those students who specialize in the technical or business management fields have graduated with high marks and have gone abroad to find themselves in top paying jobs; we are never surprised when those people choose to come back to Singapore after they are able to make a good living elsewhere in the world.
