Renewal and Urban Regeneration

Singapore Property Realtor is introduce the Urban Renewal is a controversial program of land re-development in areas of moderate to high density urban land use. But even in this adapted form, Urban Renewal projects are still widely accused of abuse and corruption. Urban Regeneration and Renewal is the new professional journal for all those directly concerned with regeneration and renewal in towns and cities.

The scope encompasses physical regeneration, economic development and community renewal. The audience for the Journal is those responsible for, or with an interest in, the management of the urban regeneration process, including policy making, planning, consultation, delivery and long-term management of developments and programs. Journal of Urban Regeneration and Renewal will provide a peer-reviewed forum for the publication of thought-leadership articles, briefings, discussion, applied research, case studies, expert comment and analysis on the key issues affecting the regeneration and renewal of towns and cities. Analysis will be practical and rigorous in nature.

Singapore Property Realtor Journal seeks to: Expand and disseminate the body of knowledge within the urban regeneration and renewal sector, including planners, property and land developers, urban regeneration companies, housing associations, surveyors, economic development agencies, policy makers, consultants, think tanks, voluntary organizations, town centre managers, property investors, educators, researchers and students. Encourage the exchange of ideas, information and experiences of all those working within the field of urban regeneration and renewal. Identify and develop awareness of emerging industry trends and best practice. Publish new and original ideas on research, policy and management of relevance to urban regeneration.

Provide authoritative, practical guidance to practitioners on current best practice. Facilitate the cooperation and exchange of ideas between regeneration practitioners and researchers including both scholars based at educational establishments and consultants working in private practice.
